Westborough, MA (October 1, 1999) - NuGenesis® Technologies Corporation (fomerly Mantra Software Corporation) and Advanced Chemistry Development announced today that they will create an interface between NuGenesis™ Scientific Data Management System (SDMS) archiving tools and Advanced Chemistry Development's spectroscopy and chromatography processing tools. The interface and added operability will allow NuGenesis ARCHIVE™ users to access and organize different types of raw spectroscopic and chromatographic data using desktop tools. NuGenesis® Technologies Corporation Software's NuGenesis ARCHIVE technology combined with ACD's leading processing tools will result in the seamless integration of the archiving and desktop spectroscopy functions within one software industry. Antony Williams, Chief Science Officer, Advanced Chemistry Development Inc. says: "Matching the power and capabilities of our desktop spectroscopy and chromatography tools to NuGenesis ARCHIVE will provide scientists with an archive of data which remains active in terms of processing and analysis. This single integrated interface makes viewing documents and images a simple task, as the connectivity to raw and processed data becomes enabled".

According to Bernie Prusaczyk, NuGenesis® Technologies Corporation's Vice President of Business Development and Partner Channels, said, "The partnership that exists between ACD and Mantra Software is one that complements and adds benefit to users in the lab. The integration of NuGenesis ARCHIVE technology with ACD spectroscopy and chromatography processing tools provides a software solution for the automation of electronic data archiving."
