ACD/Spectrus – A Continuing Evolution of Leveraging Chemical and Analytical Knowledge

Abstract: ACD/Spectrus is a novel concept of analytical and chemical knowledge management that provides a platform for scientists to extract and retain knowledge from their data, and to further leverage this knowledge for the benefit of their organization.

The concept will provide Analytical and Separations Services groups a means to combine all analytical data, chemical structures, reaction or mixture information related to a project in a logically inter-connected, and chemically intelligent way.

This talk will cover how this next generation of ACD/Labs software will impact:

• Chemists who interpret NMR and LC-MS data in an open access environment
• NMR Spectroscopists who are responsible for proof of structure reports and structure elucidation
• Organizations that strive to leverage and preserve the knowledge that went into scientists' decision-making processes
