Abstract: For many years, R&D industries have used a variety of laboratory functions and corresponding software tools to facilitate effective decision-making. However, laboratory data sources and supporting software tools require either specialized and custom data translation routines or human abstraction to allow for integration between them. In this discussion, we will describe how the integration between laboratory hardware, humans, and software is more facile and broad-in-scope than ever before in history. Specific examples will be provided.
