Rule C-985

985.1 - (a) The following sulfur analogues of the preceding compounds are named and numbered as shown:


Thiosemicarbazide


Thiocarbonohydrazide


Thiocarbazone


Thiocarbodiazone

(b) The derived radicals are named by changing the final "e" to "o"

(c) Selenium analogues are named similarly, by use of "seleno-" in place of "thio-".

(d) Numbering of these compounds and radicals, and formation of names of derivatives, are carried out as indicated for the oxygen compounds .
