Trivial and semisystematic names for parent structures and parent substituent prefixes retained for use in naming organic compounds are given in R-9.1. Names used for describing bridges in naming bridged fused ring structures are given in R-9.2 and a list of replacement or "a" prefixes is given in R-9.3.
