ACD/Labs Announces 100,000 Web Site Registrations

If you've ever downloaded our software, subscribed to one of our newsletters, or viewed one of the dozens of presentations available from our web site, you have been on the Web User Registration page. In September 2001 we hit a new milestone: 100,000 web user registrations had been completed! The vitality of our web site and the diversity of our users continues to grow, thanks to your response, and your enthusiasm in passing along our URL to your friends, students, teachers, and colleagues. The lucky 100,000th web registrant is Dr. Kerry Loomes, who hails from New Zealand. Dr. Loomes holds an academic position in Biotechnology at the University of Auckland (School of Biological Sciences) and is also head of the Molecular Pharmacology/Drug Discovery Group of a Biotechnology Company, called Protemix Corporation. Protemix is focussed on novel therapeutics for diabetes mellitus and metabolic diseases.

We are celebrating the 100,000th Web User Registration by awarding a free copy of ACD/ChemFolder. There are several free databases available from our CFD download page, and more will be added this fall. Dr.. Loomes writes, "We anticipate that your product would be extremely valuable to us as a research and inventory tool."
