With the advent of our ChemSketch Freeware 5.0 (placed on download pages in August 2001) our server began to experience heavy download demand. Accordingly, we reached our milestone of 120,000 downloads of ACD/ChemSketch in the blink of an eye, it seems! The lucky 120,000th downloader of ACD/ChemSketch freeware is Dr. Albert Adrian, who is a European Patents Attorney in Cologne, Germany.

We are celebrating the occasion by awarding a free copy of ACD/Name 5.0. ACD/Name is described in more detail here and has several new changes to its powerful algorithm. A smaller version of this is available as the Name Freeware component of the ChemSketch Freeware 5.0.
