ACD/Labs Welcomes Kamal Kumar Bhagchandani, Manager of Asia Pacific Business

Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kamal Kumar Bhagchandani (KK) to the Sales Team as the Manager of Asia Pacific Business. KK will be based in Bangalore, India, and will oversee the management of business in Asia, including ACD/Labs' emerging market in China.

KK recently joined ACD/Labs from the India office of Accelrys, where he looked after General Management and Business Development within the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). KK was responsible for building and managing the sales team in India, whose performance grew more than 100% in one year under his leadership.

Prior to joining Accelrys in 2001, KK spent seven years with Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, where he worked his way from a direct sales position to a Senior District Sales Manager role, and then spent two years with Pfizer as the Area Sales Manager for the State of Uttar Pradesh. KK holds a Bachelor of Science from Lucknow University, and an MBA from Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies in Lucknow. He is a member of an advisory committee for small companies venturing into Bioinformatics in India, and has been an invited speaker at numerous international conventions and workshops for the Pharma/Biotech industry.
