Connecticut College Students Get Out of the Lab
A Professor of Chemistry at Connecticut College wanted to find a way to decrease the amount of time it took for his students to conduct NMR experiments in order to complete a complex laboratory assignment. He was able to do so using software that allowed them to do some of the work outside of the laboratory.

Why Separate When You Can Simulate?
During our undergrad years, most analytical instrumentation carries something of a ‘black box’ mystique as we learn how they work in theory, but have little opportunity for in-depth study to help gain a better understanding. However, with advances in technology, and in computer modeling and prediction, it is now possible to effectively teach a class in analytical instrumentation, without any instruments at all.
