Accelrys Integrates ACD/pKa Batch with WebLab MedChem Explorer

SAN DIEGO, CA, October 19, 1999 - Molecular Simulations Inc. (MSI)*, a subsidiary of Pharmacopeia, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCOP), announces that MSI's WebLab® MedChem Explorer™ now integrates with a leading physical property prediction module for pK_a prediction from Advanced Chemistry Development (the pK_a Module of ACD/PhysChem Batch).

WebLab MedChem Explorer is a Web-enabled application for medicinal chemists that provides data access, property prediction, and other functions to improve communication, collaboration, productivity, and creativity.
