ACD/ChemCoder enables you to:
- Encode chemical structures and data into 2D barcodes; and
- Scan 2D barcodes to retrieve chemical structures and data on your PDA or scanning device.
Previously, chemists were unable to visually inspect and confirm the nature of a chemical substance when represented as a chemical ID or systematic nomenclature. ACD/Labs conversion of a barcode to a chemical structure has now made this possible.
ACD/ChemCoder is integrated with the ACD/ChemFolder data management system. Through ACD/ChemFolder, you can electronically organize and manage thousands of separate files, resulting in enhanced data management and inventory control systems.
