ACD/SpecManager Enterprise

Technical Information and System Requirements

Client

Hardware

• An IBM-PC or compatible platform with a Pentium/1 GHz or higher microprocessor.
• Adequate free disk space (checked automatically while installing the package) for installation of either a licensed full-featured version or a free/trial of ACD/Labs software. The total size of the installation package can range from 10 MB to 4 GB depending on the programs included.
• A minimum of 512 MB of RAM memory (1 GB is recommended).
• VGA color graphics adapter with a resolution of no less than 800 X 600 with 256 colors.

Software

• A licensed full-featured version of ACD/Labs software (complete with certificate registration numbers) or a trial version of ACD/Labs software.
• Oracle Net 8 for Windows 98/NT or better.
• Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4), Windows XP (Service Pack 2), or Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1) operating system.

Database Server

Software

• Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g

Either RDBMS Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g can be used as the database server. SpecManager Enterprise uses Oracle clients (Net8) to access databases. Oracle InterMedia Text is required for context search by User Notes (optional)
