ACD/Labs PhysChem software includes the ACD/ChemSketch chemical drawing package that is renowned for its versatile chemical reporting, drawing, and importing capabilities. Users can choose to either draw their structures using an array of tools including pre-made chemical templates, or import the structures from any popular third-party formats such as ChemDraw, molfile, or ISIS Draw.
Chemical structures and calculated properties can be transferred to ACD/ChemSketch to be saved as Adobe PDF reports, or copied and pasted into Microsoft Office applications. MDL SDfiles are also accepted. Up to 999 structures can be imported directly into the History window to generate selected properties for several molecules at a time. For larger files, ACD/PhysChem Batch is recommended.
All of the generated properties with their structures are stored in a temporarily History file that can be later exported in either ACD/Labs proprietary format or as an SDfile.
