The Benefits of Distributed-Assisted Verification

Abstract
Distributed Assisted Verification is an augmented communication protocol that streamlines the interaction between the expert NMR Spectroscopist and the practicing Chemist. This system identifies when an expert's help is required, and triggers that interaction. Further, each time an expert intervenes, the system learns from this interaction so that the frequency of expert interventions decreases over time.
This system was precipitated out of a need created by "Walk-up" NMR instruments where the production and analysis of spectra are done by the chemists. Inevitably, an expert is needed to assist the analysis in some cases. This system can help limit the amount of assistance an NMR Spectroscopist will need to provide by transferring some of that expert knowledge to the desktops of the chemists.
This presentation will focus on the challenges faced in this workflow, the tools at your disposal that can streamline the process, and the options available to make it mesh seamlessly with your current set-up.
