HR & AP Coordinator

Reporting to the Managing Director and working with our global Human Resources and Accounts Payable team, the HR & AP Coordinator, North America is responsible for the complete, accurate and timely processing and managing of HR & AP in their region.

  • Human Resources—Policy, recruiting, contracts, employment, payroll, benefits, time, and attendance; and other applications, modules, and interfaces used within the HR function
  • Accounting—Expenses, Budget Tracking

Required Qualifications

Understanding of North American employment related legislation, payroll, and effective HR services delivery.

  • A university degree in business, administration, accounting/finance, Human Resources, or related field
  • Equivalent knowledge and capability from suitable combination of other formal education and practical work experience may be considered
  • A minimum 5 years’ progressive Human Resources experience which includes hands‐on data and reporting responsibilities coupled with an administrative and/or customer service background in a relevant dynamic environment
  • Previous experience with transaction processing, data capture, reporting, and analysis
  • Good understanding of general business administration, operations, and general knowledge of labor laws
  • Demonstrates the analytical and critical thinking skills required for data management, systems administration and problem solving
  • High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail with data entry, people transactions, and payroll processing
  • Speaks and writes in a clear, articulate manner for individual and/or group
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, and relationship management
  • Experience with confidential, and sensitive data managed with the HR Systems and Accounting
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook and Word with at least intermediate capability in Excel including formulas, lookups and pivot tables. Experience with various accounting software and CRM tools an asset.
