Sulfenic Acids and their Derivatives

Rule C-521

521.1 - Sulfenic acids RS-OH and their derivatives are named according to the same principles as sulfinic and sulfonic acids and their derivatives, as described in Rule C-641 and Subsection C-6.4, with the exception of the "thio" derivatives R-S-SH (hydrodisulfides; see Rule C-513) and (disulfides; see Rules C-515.1, C-515.2, and C-515.3).
