C-0.16. Order of Prefixes

The alphabetical order of prefixes is used in this document. Examples showing the alphabetical arrangement of prefixes are given in Subsection C-0.12. Guidance for arranging the radicals according to alphabetical order is given in Rule C-16.3, this being an extension of the Rule A-2.3 for acyclic hydrocarbon radicals.
