ACD/UV-IR Processor
What's New
General Processing and Visualization Features
- Selectively show/hide analytical traces in series
- Copy shown-data from series to their own window
- Apply custom coloration schemes to series more easily
- Interactively apply offset through the series display
- Zap a spectral region to zero or connect with end-to-end line
Automation
- Automatically apply macros across all selected analytical files in the Processor window
- New macro commands:
- Delete a specified analytical type from database records using a macro
- Copy only the shown spectra/curves in a series to their own window macro
- Set database update options quickly to custom preferences using a macro

Processing and Analysis Features
- Use relative spectra offset to auto-adjust the offset used in accordance to the data set size.
- Fix the x-axis unit to your preference, so that original data in Absorbance, Transmittance, or % Transmittance data are all automatically converted to a consistent data viewing convention.
- Conveniently lock the default window display range to an area of interest. Easily toggle between the full view to lock the display range, facilitating global and detailed analyses.
- Enjoy SIMPLISMA's curve resolution mode interface improvements:
- Automatically save concentration profiles into a series that can be processed and analyzed independently.
- Note whether the Conventional or 2nd Derivative modes were used through the Table of Statistics title bar.
- Collect data using disparate x-axis conventions to a single series convention without having to transform the data first.
Processing and Analysis Features
- Gain greater clarity and insight by applying display offsets to overlaid spectra in analytical series to better spot trends.
- Simplify annotations of complex analytical spectra with multiple annotation layers.
- Link data from related techniques in a clear hierarchical system:
- Live curve data can be linked directly to a single data point or peak within a chromatogram, spectrum, or another analytical curve.
Spectral Interpretation Guides
- Generate lists of likely functional groups in the sample faster using the new IR and Raman automatic interpretation tools.
- The infrared correlation knowledge base of functional groups with characteristic vibrational frequencies was expanded and now includes over 1,300 structure fragments.
- A new Raman correlation knowledge base of over 1,100 functional groups with characteristic vibrational frequencies is now available to aid Raman spectra interpretation.
- Verify structure-to-Raman spectra correlation automatically.
General Features
- Adapt the software to your viewing habits by changing the wavenumber x-axis direction.
- Enhance spectrum identification through the windowpane information display of key information.
