A Strong Future for ACD/Labs Software with Revvity Signals
In our traditional year end review, the focus is on a recent important announcement: The definitive agreement by Revvity Signals to acquire ACD/Labs.
We at ACD/Labs are very excited that our two best of breed portfolios will be coming together, to offer even tighter integration and expanded capabilities to scientists and their organizations. Both ACD/Labs and Revvity Signals share decades of commitment to scientific innovation. We are looking forward to this opportunity to better serve chemistry and pharmaceutical research, development and manufacturing, as one organization.
Revvity Signals products are highly sought after in R&D and many ACD/Labs customers have greeted the news with excitement. The future combined informatics solutions are expected to expand the breadth of scientific workflows supported by Revvity Signals platform—from experiment design and data capture to analysis, visualization, and collaboration—with the advanced spectral data management, automation, and property prediction capabilities of ACD/Labs. The acquisition of ACD/Labs will result in better informatics tools for scientists that rely on analytical data to make go-no-go decisions, minimize risk, establish process controls, and ensure quality.
Supporting Seamless Scientific Workflows
At a November executive briefing with IBO, Kevin Willoe, President of Revvity Signals Software, described how Signals Notebook presently integrates with ACD/Labs’ Katalyst D2D®: experimental designs move seamlessly between the platforms for automated data capture and processing, creating a complete, searchable record and enabling structured, AI-ready scientific workflows without manual intervention.
The two organizations are aligned in their goals to support workflow-centered solutions and technologies. ACD/Labs’ introductions in recent years have seen expanded support in pharmaceutical development (Luminata® for process control and CMC); streamlining workflows (Katalyst D2D for automated, digitalized experimentation); and automation of laboratory dataflows (Spectrus Conduit™ to ease the burden of data management and digitalization).
Celebrating Progress and Looking Ahead
We at ACD/Labs are looking forward to the growth and maturation of our technologies under the Revvity umbrella and a new chapter in our corporate history. We are excited to see our decades-long commitment to customer support flourish in a new integrated platform. We are grateful to the customers, colleagues, and partners that have supported us throughout our history; and strive to meet their expectations in the future, as part of the Revvity Signals organization.
